Richard Creelman - ACCESS Pipeline Scholarship Award

Audience: This scholarship is presented by Richard Creelman and ACCESS Pipeline in support of students pursuing post-secondary educational opportunities in a trades or vocations of their choice.  The sponsors of this award wish to recognize Ecole Plamondon School students who are passionate about trade or vocation related occupations.

Alberta‐Pacific Forest Industries Aboriginal Education Scholarship

Audience: Any Aboriginal individual residing within the Alberta-Pacific Forest Management area and its sphere of influence for at least one year prior to applying for the program.

Eligibility: Applicants accepted in full time enrolment at a post secondary institution in a minimum two year program who demonstrate financial need, suitable attitude and willingness to participate in the program and maintain their course workload attendance leading to a recognized degree, certificate or diploma.
Value: The financial portion of the program will cover the cost of the individual’s tuition only for the duration of their academic pursuit to a maximum of five years.

Claude Gauthier Memorial Scholarship

Audience: Graduating student of either Plamondon or LLB (Ecole Plamondon School, Ecole Beausejour, or JAWS)
Sponsored by: Plamondon Co‐op
Eligibility: Students who either themselves or their parents are members of the Plamondon Co‐op Ltd. entering a post‐secondary program relating to the field of Business. Students are selected based on grade average, a letter of recommendation for school personnel, and an essay.
Value: 1 scholarship of $1000; the first half received on the 1st of November, the second half paid in February of the following year.

Dr. Raymond U. Lemieux Memorial Scholarship

Audience: Graduating student of either Ecole Plamondon or J.A. Williams (or any subsequent LLB High School)
Sponsored by: Dr. Lemieux Family
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the intent of the award category, meet the post-secondary admission requirements for the Faculty of Science and be registered at an accredited university for the academic year immediately following graduation from high school.
Value:  annual scholarship of $500 to a qualifying grade 12 student(s)

Audience: Graduating student of either Plamondon or LLB (Ecole Plamondon School, Ecole Beausejour or JAWS); or live in the Lac La Biche Area.

Eligibility: Students who are enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution.  Applicants will earn points for academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, citizenship and a career plan.  See details below.

LLB Gas Co-op Scholarship

Audience:  Graduating Grade 12 students going into post-secondary education, or to post-secondary students continuing their studies for an additional year.

Eligibility: Students who either themselves or their parents are members of the LLB Gas Co-op, entering or continuing a post‐secondary program.  Selection is based on academic achievement, community/volunteer involvement, or field of study in no particular order.

The Elks & Royal Purple Memorial Scholarship Fund (*Audiology and/or Speech Therapy)

Audience: Graduate or undergraduate students enrolled in the study of audiology and/or speech pathology.

Eligibility: A number of scholarships awarded on the basis of academic achievement, references, and an essay outlining career goals. Preference is given to students who plan to work with children

The Lac La Biche Rotary Citizenship Scholarship

Audience: Graduating student during the current or previous school year of either J.A. Williams High School, Ecole Plamondon or Ecole Beausejour or any subsequent high school built in the Lac La Biche area in the future.
Sponsored by: Lac La Biche Rotary Club
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the entry requirements at an accredited post secondary institution and be registered at that institution for the academic year immediately following receipt of a Rotary scholarship.  Applicants earn up to a maximum of 100 points toward the award.  Points are awarded for Academic Achievement, a biographical account of extra-curricular activities and citizenship and a career plan.
