Aboriginal Achievement Scholarship

Audience: Aboriginal Youth graduating in NLSD #69
Sponsored by:  Northern Lights School Division #69 School Board 
Eligibility: Aboriginal youth to pursuing post-secondary studies with the ultimate objective of obtaining a university degree, a college diploma, or a certificate from a technical institute.
Value:  1 scholarship of $1,500 (If more than one applicant is accepted the value of the scholarships may vary.)

Northern Lights School Division-Student Leadership Award

Audience:  NLSD #69 graduating students 
Sponsored by:  Northern Lights School Division #69 School Board 
Eligibility: Student involved in a leadership role in their school for a minimum of two years. See attached information for full details on eligibility
Value:  certificate, plaque and letter of recommendation 
Deadline:  April 30th of school year

Northern Lights School Division-Student Awards and Scholarships

Audience:  NLSD #69 graduating students

Eligibility:  Students successfully completing high school Provincial Diploma Examination courses and Math 31 with blended marks of 80% to 84% on their first writing.
Value:  $50 per course

Northern Lights School Division – Student Awards and Scholarships

Audience: NLSD #69 graduating students

Eligibility:  Students successfully completing high school Provincial Diploma Examination courses and Math 31 with blended marks of 85% to 99% on their first writing,
Value:  $100 per course

Northern Lights School Division – Student Awards and Scholarships

Eligibility:  Students successfully completing high school Provincial Diploma Examination courses with an examination mark of 100% on their first PDE writing. 
Value:  $1000 per course

Walter Hayduk Memorial Scholarship

Audience: NLSD graduating students

Eligibility:  Students must be attending the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta or a recognized transfer program to the institution.
Value:  1 scholarship of $100
